Vadodara students shine in IGCSE exam
Vadodara: As the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) declared results of Class 10 and 12 on Wednesday, students from two city-based schools excelled with flying colours.
At Navrachana International School Vadodara (NISV), Siddhi Thakkar bagged 8 A* grade with 94.25% in Class 10 exams, while Ammar Jiruwala scored 7A* 1A grade with 95%. “Dhairya Sheth got 7A* 2A grade with 94.37%. Jas Anil Bhagchandan got 7A* 2A grade with 94.25% whereas Ishan Snehalkumar Shah bagged 7A* 1A grade with 92.12%,” said NISV principal D’ Souza.
Jimil Rajeshkumar Patel of Vibgyor High topped the school in the class 10 exam by securing 7A* grade with 91.75 %. Nysa Babu stood second by bagging 5A* 2A with 88.38% while Divy Pradipkumar Patel secured the third rank by scoring 5A* 2A with 87.13%.
In Class 12, Ira Ranjan topped at Vibgyor High by bagging 4A* with 93.75% out of four subjects. Jayant Gambhir, who secured the second rank, scored 2A* with an overall percentage of 84% out of three subjects while Ishan Dani came third by scoring 1A with 78% in three subjects, school officials informed.
