Ganjam ayurved college to start PG course

Berhampur: Kaviraj Anantha Tripathy Sharma Ayurved Mahavidyalaya (KATSAM) in Ankushapur of Ganjam district, one of the three government-run ayurvedic colleges, will introduce a postgraduate (PG) course on ‘shalya tantra’ (surgery) in this academic session, officials said.
“The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), ministry of Ayush, has accorded permission to the college to start the new PG course from the academic session of 2023-24,” said Bipin Bihari Khuntia, principal. It will be the first PG department in the college with four seats, Khuntia added.TNN
