Panaji: Under the influence of a trough formation, parts of Goa experienced light to moderate rain and thundershowers at isolated places on Wednesday. However, the state is expected to feel the summer heat yet again after the brief relief.
The India meteorological department (IMD) has forecast dry weather from May 25 to 27.
On Wednesday, light to moderate rain and thundershowers accompanied with lightning occurred at most places over the state. The highest maximum temperature of 35.5 degrees C was recorded at Panaji and the lowest minimum temperature of 24 degrees C was recorded at Panaji.
Though dry weather is expected to prevail from May 25 to 27 onwards, the IMD forecast reads that no large change in the maximum temperature is expected from May 28 to 30.
