Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on May 24 said that RJD will boycott the inauguration of the new Parliament building. He said, “We will boycott this. We feel that this is an insult to the President. Also, we want all the Opposition parties to oppose the inauguration.”When asked about withdrawal of Rs. 2000 currency notes, Tejashwi Yadav said, “I do not understand why they (Centre) are doing this. First, they brought Rs. 2000 notes to eradicate black money. Now, they are withdrawing it.”On May 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament building. However, the Opposition leaders are questioning why the PM will inaugurate the Parliament and not the President.
