J&K: Two women washed in flash flood in Poonch, one rescued

In an unfortunate incident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, a girl and her aunt were washed away by the flash flood in the Betaar Nala. One was rescued by the rescue teams and the other is still missing. A search operation is underway. “A girl and her aunt were trying to cross the Betaar Nala, when suddenly the rainwater in the stream flooded and washed them away with it. During the search operation, the search team found one of them and the other woman is still missing. The SDRF teams are also involved in the search operation.”
