Haryana woman clinches 9th slot

GURGAON: The daughter of a grocery storekeeper in Kaithal, Kanika Goyal clinched ninth slot in the country in her second attempt.
The LSR alumnus said she was hopeful about her second attempt, despite not clearing the interview in her first. Gurgaon’s Pranshu Sharma, son of a retired Haryana government chief engineer, ended his UPSC chase on a high note with all-India rank 65. “It was a really good conclusion to my eight-year-long chase of clearing the civil services.”
