Earthmover crushes man in Sector 16

GURGAON: A 28-year-old labourer was killed in Sector 16 when an earthmover (JCB ) hit him while reversing on Monday.
The man identified as Babun Pujar, a native of West Bengal, was staying with his cousin in Sector 89. “Around 4.15pm, JCB driver Robin was reversing his vehicle and Babun was just behind it. Babun was hit and received serious injuries,” Shivnath, Babun’s cousin, told police. With the help of the contractor, an ambulance was called and Babun was taken to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to Delhi, but died during treatment.
An FIR was registered under sections 279 (rash driving), and 304A (causing death by negligence) of the IPC.
