As the weather temperature is rising across the country, a heartbreaking image from Madhya Pradesh is now viral on Internet.

A woman was seen using plastic bags to shield her children feet from burning on the hot roads as she had no money to afford a pair of footwear.

The incident is of Madhya Pradesh’s Sheopur town.

The mother while in search for work in the scorching heat was roaming around the town with her children feet wrapped around with plastic bags.

In the viral image, a woman can be seen carrying a child on her arms and two of her children (one girl and one boy) wearing polythene bags as their shoes.

As per reports, the woman is a tribal woman identified as Rukmini.

The visuals came into limelight after a local journalist Insaf Quraishi spotted Rukmini and stopped to click a picture.

Quarishi not only photographed Rukmini but got carried away with her condition and helped her by giving some money to purchase footwear.

Rukmini shared with Quraishi that she belongs to the Sahariya tribal community and explained how her family is going through a financial burden. Rukmini said her husband has got affected with tuberculosis and they have no money for his treatment.

She is the only breadwinner of the family currently and looking at the family condition, she is now resorted to look out for doing some labour in order to earn some money.

She also said as there is no else to look after her children with her husband himself a patient, she brought them along in her hunt for work.  

After Rukmini’s plight came into the notice of local administration, it jumped in to provide assistance to her assuring all possible means of help.

District Collector Shivam Verma told media after the matter came to their notice, the Supervisor of Women and Child Development team along with an Anganwadi worker were sent to collect information from Rukmini’s family and were directed to help her get all the benefits of the government schemes.

PM Modi underlines deep Aus ties at Sydney show for NRIs, Indian Australians

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said Australia and India have always shared common interests including keeping the Indo-Pacific a free, open and inclusive area.

Addressing a gathering of Australians of Indian origin and NRIs based in the country in Sydney, PM Modi recalled his first visit to Down Under and listed the many things that connected the two countries. He noted that India and Australia are keen cricketing nations and shared many more close links from MasterChef and yoga. PM Modi spoke about the sadness many cricket-loving Indians felt on the death of Australian spin wizard Shane Warne.

The PM noted that the Indo-Pacific region faces a number of challenges such as the security of sea lanes of communication, terrorism, climate change and piracy. He said these issues can be addressed through shared efforts.

He said that both he and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese wanted to take their ties much closer. PM Modi said he was confident that he would Indo-Australian relations to the next level. There was large scope to identify new areas of complementing each other and increase cooperation between the two nations. This would also happen in closer defence and security ties to ensure open and free communication in Indo-Pacific.

He highlighted the fact that there was high degree of mutual trust between the two countries that had translated into increased co-operation on defence and security matters, which was already visible with the navies of the two countries participating in joint naval exercises.

He stated India’s position in the world as the force of global good. He said that India always had a helping hand whenever there was a disaster. He hailed India as the mother of democracy and as a bright spot for the world’s economy.

Prime Minister Modi and his Australian counterpart renamed the Sydney suburb ‘Little India’ during the mega community event at the Qudos Bank Arena  in Sydney Olympic Park. He also announced that a new consulate will be opened in Brisbane soon.

PM Modi was visiting Australia after nine years after 2014. The organisers of the Tuesday bash, the Indian Australian Diaspora Foundation (IADF), had anticipated a sizeable turnout and were not disappointed by the multitudes welcoming the PM. Special buses had been organized by Modi supporters from Brisbane and Canberra.

Indians comprise 2.8% of the Australian population, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

He also added that the the Indo-Pacific region faces a number of challenges such as security of  sea lanes of communication , terrorism, climate change and piracy. He said that these issues can be addressed through shared efforts. He also added that he could not be satisfied easily.

He said that Prime minister Albanese was same in this regard. He said he was confident that he would Indo-Australian relations to the next level. There was large scope to identify new areas of complementariness and increase cooperation between the two nations. PM Modi said he wants to take India’s relationship with the Australia to the next level which include closer defence and security ties to ensure open and free communication in Indo-Pacific. He highlighted the fact that there was high degree of mutual trust between the two countries that had translated into increased co-operation on defence and security matters.

As a result of which the navies of the two countries are participating in joint naval exercises.

Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee recounted his memories of deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput while promoting his upcoming film Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai.In this movie Manoj plays the role of a lawyer who confronts a rape case involving a self  proclaimed spiritual leader Bajpayee said Rajput was a kind-hearted man who was innocent.

Speaking further, Bajpayee said Rajput couldn’t make sense of the politics within the Bollywood industry and as a result could not handle it. Bajpayee said that politics had always been prevalent in the industry, but he had survived it since he was thick-skinned and stubborn by nature. Nepotism also had its effect which has been faced by many newcomers in the industry. Rajput didn’t make peace with nepotism and as a result ended up being hurt in the process.

Bajpayee revealed he had become very close to Sushant Rajput. He said he would cook mutton on the sets and Sushant would stop by to eat with. Bajpayee added he never knew Sushant would take such a drastic step.

In interviews given after Rajput’s death, several actors had expressed sympathy and condolences at his tragic passing. Actor Priyanka Chopra had shared pictures of Sushant to express her grief over his death. She said she was stunned and grieved he would have been in so much pain to take the unfortunate step. She prayed for his soul to rest in peace and recalled her conversations with him on astrophysics.

Similarly, Alia Bhatt had expressed her grief saying that no matter how much she thought about him, she did not have the words to express her grief. She said she was devastated and had expressed her condolences and regards to Sushant’s family and loved ones.

Sushant’s Kai Po Che co-star Amit Sadh had tweeted he was sorry as he could not come to Sushant’s rescue. He also added that he regretted that he could not be there for him at his lowest ebb. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan had tweeted he missed Sushant very much and spoke of his energy, enthusiasm and his happy smile.

With the ongoing International Film Festival Cannes, Internet is filled with the pictures of celebrities walking down the red carpet .

In social media platforms, all eyes are on celebrities appearances but in the midst of all of this an unusual visual at the Cannes red carpet is now in circles all over the internet.

On Sunday, a woman in Ukrainian flag coloured gown walked the red carpet at Cannes, suddenly to the bewilderment of all the people and the security staff present at the venue, the woman spilled fake blood on her body in front of the cameras.

A video of the incident is now going viral on the Internet.

As soon as the woman put this into action, she was immediately nabbed by the security officials and was taken off the carpet.

In the viral video, a woman can be seen in a yellow-blue coloured dress, the same colours which are in the flag of war hit Ukraine posing for the pictures while walking on the red carpet.

The woman then climbed some stairs and pulled out two red coloured pouches and poured the red liquid substance over her head while smiling before the cameras.

 The red substance first appeared to be blood but later it was found to be a fake blood.

All of this happened during the screening of Acide, a film directed by French director Philippot at the Cannes film festival.

Reports said, the woman took this step to show her solidarity with the people of Ukraine, which is underway invasion by Russia for more than a year now.

While, no official statements or comments have been received yet on the said demonstration.

A similar incident took place at the festival last year, when a woman stripped off her clothes at the red carpet event, with her body painted in the colours of Ukraine flag with a message written, which read stop raping us.

The woman had gathered a huge attention globally.  She was protesting against Russia demanding them to stop the rapes, referring to the charges by Ukraine which surfaced last year about Russian soldiers raping the Ukrainian women during the invasion.
