From next session, admissions to start in 106 HSSs

Bhubaneswar: Students can take admission in the 106 upgraded higher secondary schools (HSS)s from the next academic session. As many as 13,468 students can take admission in these schools.
Sources said, among the 106 schools, 100 will offer admission in humanities and six schools will offer science. Each HSS will have two sections with 64 students in each.
The current headmasters have been given training to take additional charge of principal in these schools while appointment of guest faculty has been started at school level to address the need of teachers in these upgraded schools, an official source said.
