Bank of Baroda shares rise 1.52% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Bank of Baroda traded at Rs 183.75 on BSE at 11:07AM (IST) on Tuesday, up 1.52 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 89.9 and a high of Rs 197.2.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 270,329 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:07AM (IST).

The stock of Bank of Baroda commands a market value of Rs 95023.78 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 6.33, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.82. Return on equity (ROE) was at 8.54 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 354 stocks traded in the green, while 147 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 63.97 per cent in the Bank of Baroda as of 31-Mar-2023 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 10.93 per cent and 16.62 per cent, respectively.
