RLP chief attacks both Cong & BJP at Bikaner mahapanchayat
Jaipur: Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) supremo and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal on Monday claimed that the presence of thousands of farmers and youth under the scorching sun during a kisan mahapanchayat at Lunkaransar in Bikaner shows that people have made up their mind to unseat the Congress from power in the next assembly polls.
In his address, Beniwal lashed out at both the BJP and the Congress and said while the Congress government was committing hooliganism, the BJP in Rajasthan was silent on issues of public concern.
The MP said as a result of the Kisan Hunkar rallies in Nagaur, Barmer, Bikaner and Sikar before the 2018 assembly elections, the then BJP government made state highways toll-free and announced free electricity and farmer loan waivers. Beniwal said while the BJP cheated the farmers in the name of loan waiver, Rahul Gandhi announced a loan waiver 10 days before the elections which is yet to be waived.
Beniwal said most of the ministers and ruling party leaders of Bikaner district are busy with works like royalty contracts and tolls contracts and they are not concerned with the interests of the public.
The MP said he has been talking about an alliance between Vasundhara and Ashok Gehlot for 15 years and the chief minister himself publicly said Raje saved his government.
