Teen electrocuted

Mangaluru: A youth died of suspected electrocution on the banks of river Kumaradhara at Adekkal in Hirebandadi on Sunday evening. Police said the deceased is Shareefuddin, 19.
He had passed II PUC.Though he was rushed to hospital, doctors at Puttur Government Hospital said that he may have died of electrocution. Uppinangady police have registered a case of annatural death.
Man ends life
A 20-year-old man allegedly ended his life by hanging to a tree located behind the house in Jarattaru of Ariadka village of Puttur taluk on Monday. The deceased is Rithesh. The reason for this extreme step is yet to be ascertained. An unnatural death report has been registered at Puttur Rural Police Station. TNN
