Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:40AM

ZUARIAGRO(up 9.03%), National Fertilizer(up 4.90%), Madras Fertlizers(up 3.31%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 3.28%), Bohra Industries(up 2.97%), Sikko Industries(up 2.18%), Aries Agro(up 1.88%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.49%), KRISHANA(up 1.33%) and Rama Phosphates(up 1.11%) were among the top gainers.

Coromandel International(down 1.39%), Paradeep Phosphates(down 0.84%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.70%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.51%) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.51%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 86.65 points up at 18401.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 226.78 points at 62190.46 at around 10:40AM.

Adani Enterprises(up 13.47%), Divis Laboratories(up 3.94%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 2.74%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 2.14%), Bajaj Finserv(up 2.14%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.25%), Tata Motors(up 1.24%), Infosys(up 1.17%), UPL Ltd(up 1.1%) and Hindalco Industries(up 1.04%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Grasim Industries(down 1.27%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.92%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 0.79%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.67%), Larsen & Toubro(down 0.44%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.44%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.4%), Titan Company Ltd(down 0.28%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.21%) and Bharti Airtel(down 0.11%) were trading in the red.
