Share price of Shriram Trans Fin rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Shriram Finance Ltd. gained 1.45 per cent to Rs 1338.0 in Tuesday's trade as of 10:25AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 1340.0 and low of Rs 1322.0 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 10.42 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:25AM shares and turnover at Rs 0.27 crore around that time.

The stock of Shriram Finance Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 1509.25 and Rs 1102.1, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.69.

Promoters held 25.51 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2023, while foreign investors held 49.78 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 11.74 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 7979.75 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2023, up 2.18 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 7809.39 crore and up 56.85 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 5087.59 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 1285.19 crore, up 17.77 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
