Three held for stabbing man after brawl between groups in Delhi's Usmanpur

NEW DELHI: Three men have been arrested for allegedly stabbing a 25-year-old man in Usmanpur.
The injured man has been identified as Puneet. The incident took place following a brawl between two groups.
"Puneet's father Mahesh was sitting outside their house when he was hit by a ball. He saw a boy playing with the ball and scolded him. Hearing this, the family members of the child came out and objected to Mahesh's behavior. This led to a heated argument between Mahesh and the boy's family members, hearing which Puneet also came out. As Puneet intervened, some people from the other group took out a knife and stabbed him a few times," said a senior police officer.
