Dia Mirza recently took to Twitter to complain about not getting a verified blue tick on the micro-blogging website. The actress wrote, ‘Have had a verified Twitter account since 2010. Despite subscription well before the verified ticks started disappearing on accounts this account doesn’t seem to have a blue tick yet. Why? All other advantages of being a subscriber seem to be working, including the option of longer tweets.’ Dia further tagged the official handle of Twitter and Twitter Blue and urged them to look into her issue. To give a little background, several celebrities lost their verified checkmarks on Twitter after Elon Musk recently announced that influential personalities will have to pay for the Twitter blue ticks.
