Ashutosh, Devesh elected president, secretary of APAA

Kanpur: Ashutosh Bhalla of Meerut and Devesh Dubey of Kanpur have been elected as president and secretary of Uttar Pradesh Athletic Association at the annual general meeting of UPAA held on Sunday morning at the Sports Hub. During the meeting the election of the office-bearers of the association was also held in which Ashutosh Bhalla was elected unopposed while Devesh Dubey was elected through voting. He was challenged by Ajay Kumar Tripathi of Kushinagar. Dubey got support of members while Tripathi of the 16-member units. Voting was held for the senior vice-president, joint secretary's post too. PK Srivastava and Babadeen Chaudhary of Sultanpur were challenging each other.tnn
