On expected line, CDCC were thrashed by an innings and 279 runs on on Sunday, the Day 2 of the match.
Opting to bat, the 10-men CDCC made 63 for 8 with their last man getting retired hurt. In reply, Navniketan punished CDCC for 80 overs and made 545 for 9 declared. Along with Karnewar, Varun Palundurkar also made 107 in 105 balls. Opener Akshay Agarwal made 75 runs.
