A 17-year-old girl is in good condition after she was shot on Jean Baptiste Point DuSable Lake Shore Drive on Sunday night, Chicago police said.
The girl was in a car traveling in the 1700 block of Jean Baptiste Point DuSable Lake Shore Drive in the Lincoln Park neighborhood when she was shot in the lower back by an unknown person around 7 p.m., police said.
She was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
