Hailing India’s rapid growth under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister of State (Ind. Charge) for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh on May 22 in Srinagar said that the world is ready to be led by India under PM Modi. On Pakistan not being part of G20 meeting in J&K, the MoS said that given the situation in Pakistan, event ‘people in Pakistan occupied Kashmir wish that they were part of India’. “We have become part of the global world. Our growth, challenges and benchmarks are global now. And the world is ready to be led by India under PM Modi. Pakistan has still not been able to decide whether J&K is part of India or not. People in Pak-occupied Kashmir want to be part of India,” Singh said. J&K is successfully hosting G20 meeting of the working group on tourism that is being held from May 22 to 24. However, Pakistan along with a few other countries, have decided to boycott the meeting for being held in the Valley.
