Nagpur: Former Ranji player Himanshu Joshi first produced a magnificent knock (83; 46b, 6x6, 6x6) with the bat to take Income Tax Recreational Club (ITRC) a respectable total. Later, he bowled a match-winning spell (3.4-0-25-4) to take his side to an exciting 2-run victory over Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) in Guzder League (institution).
Batting first, ITRC made 170 all out in 20 overs. Along with standout performer Joshi, Suresh Choudhary and Bhushan Wasnik both made 22 runs each.
In reply, NMC looked on course and had the proceedings under control. However, Joshi spoiled their party. NCM needed 3 runs from 4 balls with 2 wickets in hand and Joshi was bowling the last over.
Off-spinner Joshi took both the wickets without conceding a runs to seal the deal.
