DCM condoles girl’s death due to rain incident in Bengaluru

Mandya: Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar has reacted to the Bengaluru incident, where a girl died after drowning in a car.
Speaking to the media persons at the Adichunchanagiri Mutt premises, Shivakumar expressed his condolences to the deceased’s family, and said that providing compensation was not the only solution, but that it was important to take measures to see that such incidents do not repeat in the future.
Urging the residents of Bengaluru to be careful while plying on the road, especially during the rainy season, he said that the problems existing in the state will be addressed at the earliest.
Prior to this, Shivakumar visited the Kala Bhairava Temple at Adichunchanagiri Mutt, and also held a closed door meeting with seer Sri Nirmalanandantha Swamiji.
