With the valley hosting the G20 meeting just like the other parts of India, Union Minister of State (Ind. Charge) for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh on May 22 in Srinagar dubbed that as a message for the world. Briefing on the situation, the MoS also said that the people in J&K are ready to move forward with the PM. “The hosting of G20 meetings in J&K like any other state in the country is a message in itself. Another message is that the public of J&K is now ready to forward with PM Modi’s vision. Previously, Pakistan used to affect the situation in J&K, but now, nothing like this happens,” Singh said. Squashing all the skepticism, J&K is successfully hosting a G20 meeting of the working group on tourism that is being held from May 22 to 24. Meeting holding international importance is a great opportunity for India to showcase the Union Territory’s improved conditions. India is holding several G20 meetings under its presidency, meanwhile, the Summit will be held in September.
