PM Modi conferred with highest honour of Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea conferred the ‘Companion of the order of Logohu’ to PM Modi on May 22. He was given the accolade for championing the cause of unity of Pacific Island countries and spearheading the cause of Global South. Notably, very few non-residents of PNG have received this award including former US Prez Bill Clinton. The honour comes immediately after Fiji conferred their highest civilian award to PM Modi.
