Share price of Indian Oil Corp. rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. gained 1.02 per cent to Rs 86.95 in Monday's trade as of 12:35PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 87.0 and low of Rs 85.3 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 7.0 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:35PM shares and turnover at Rs 5.89 crore around that time.

The stock of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 88.61 and Rs 65.2, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.4.

Promoters held 51.5 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2023, while overseas investors held 6.91 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 11.91 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 205087.53 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2023, down 12.31 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 233876.46 crore and down 16.61 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 175872.72 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 10289.82 crore, up 54.83 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
