4-day-old girl dumped near bushes, FIR filed

GURGAON: An FIR has been registered against unknown persons after a four-days-old girl was found abandoned near the bushes near Saraswati Enclave in Sector 10B on April 25. The girl who first saw the child last month went out of city, so filed the complaint on Thursday.
The complainant is a resident of Saraswati Enclave. She told cops she saw a newborn girl in the area on April 25.
“The baby’s health is better now. She has been sent to a ) care centre in Faridabad,” the officer said.
An FIR has been registered under Section 317 (exposure and abandonment of child under twelve years) of the IPC at Sector 10A police station. An investigation into the matter has begun, cops said. tnn
