Coimbatore: The students of corporation-run schools have secured an overall pass percentage of 87.57% in the Class X state board examination.
While 1,923 students, including 776 boys and 1,147 girls, took the exam, 1,684 have passed, including 607 boys and 1,077 girls, an official source said.
The total pass percentage is 0.20 less than the previous year, which recorded 87.77. The percentage of boys who passed the exam is 78.22, compared to 93.89 of girls.
The Corporation Girls High School at Puliakulam recorded 100% pass.
The second and third place were secured by the Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School at Oppanakara Veedhi with 98.22% and Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School at Ramakrishnapuram with 97.95%.
