Six drowned in sea near Bharuch

Surat: At least six persons, including four minors, drowned in the Arabian Sea near Gandhar village of Bharuch on Friday night. The deceased had gone to play in the sea, said police.
According to police, they were trying to identify the deceased and collecting their details from others who were rescued.
“Two teenagers aged 15 and 16 years have been rescued while at least six, including four minors, drowned in the sea. The incident was reported around 6.30 pm,” said a police officer.
The deceased were residents of Bharuch city and natives of Muler village in Vagra taluka of the district. They went to sea in the evening and were playing in the water.tnn
