Techie loses phone, Rs21.6 lakh from account

NASHIK: A 30-year-old software engineer, who had lost his phone on March 26, realized that an unidentified person used his phone to transfer Rs21.6 lakh from his bank account to four different bank accounts in a day.
On the complaint of the techie from Makhmalabad Road, the cyber police have registered an FIR against an unidentified person.
The Sarkarwada police said the complainant allegedly lost his phone on the stretch between Goda Park, Panchavati to Kranti Nagar in Nashik on March 26.
In a couple of days, he realized that Rs 21.6 lakh were transferred from his bank account to four different accounts.
