The NSE Nifty50 index ended 73.45 points up at 18203.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 297.94 points at 61729.68.
Adani Enterprises(up 3.49%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.48%), Tata Motors(up 3.25%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.24%), Infosys(up 1.84%), HCL Technologies(up 1.43%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.2%), Axis Bank(up 1.02%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.01%) and Wipro(up 0.94%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Divis Laboratories(down 1.75%), Britannia Industries(down 1.41%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.4%), NTPC(down 1.03%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.87%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.83%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.81%), Asian Paints(down 0.79%), UPL Ltd(down 0.79%) and Bajaj Auto(down 0.78%) closed in the red.
