Rly museum takes part in int’l expo

Mysuru: Mysuru Rail Museum is taking part in the three-day International Expo of Museums in New Delhi which was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi. A miniature wooden replica of the 1899-built Maharani’ royal coach and a miniature working model of a steam engine are displayed in the Mysuru Rail Museum stall. Officials said these exhibits are being noticed by rail enthusiasts and the general public in equal measure. The museum showcases vintage steam locomotives, royal saloon, inspection coaches, goods wagons and other equipment built by the erstwhile rulers of Mysore kingdom in the 19th century. TNN
