Man kidnaps girl to teach her parents a lesson

RAJKOT: A 19-year-old allegedly kidnapped a four-and-a-half-year-old daughter of his neighbour merely for revenge over some tiff he had with her father a few days ago. “Accused Pramod Moriya had a fight with the girl’s father Raghavram Gupta over some issue and decided to subject mental harassment on Gupta’s family and kidnapped the girl,” said the police, who have arrested the offender.
The accused enticed the girl and took her to a bus stop and left her there, said cops. Some people informed the police but the minor was not able to tell the cops about her parents. She was sent to a children’s protection home from where Aji Dam police traced and united the girl with her parents. The girl’s parents are natives of Uttar Pradesh and are working in a local factory as labourers.
