Phoenix Mills(down 2.13 per cent), SOBHA(down 1.99 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 1.93 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.03 per cent at 454.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 46.3 points at 18083.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 120.22 points at 61311.52.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.
Shares of Suzlon Energy, YES Bank, SBI, Indian Railway Fin and Zomato were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Refex Industries, Aurionpro Sol, Ugro Capital, NDR Auto Components and Par Drugs & Chemical hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Swaraj Suiting, Gland Pharma, Adani Gas, Jakharia Fabric and Cineline India hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
