A Georgia man has died after being shot while driving in Milwaukee and then striking a traffic light, police say
A Georgia man is dead after being shot and then driving into a traffic light on Milwaukee's north side, police say.
According to Milwaukee police, the shooting took place around 2:45 p.m. on the 3900 block of North 19th Place. The man was inside a vehicle when shots were fired, police said. He then crashed into the traffic light on the 2300 block of West Atkinson Avenue, where he died. He was 44 years old.
Police said the circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation and they do not have anyone in custody.
