Shashank, Meehira to lead Nagpur in youth state basketball c’ship

Nagpur: Nagpur District Basketball Association (NDBA) announced the 12-member boys and girls teams for the Maharashtra state youth basketball championship scheduled to be held at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar from Friday. Shashank Ghadge of SNG and Meehira Dhote of DKM will lead the district boys and girls teams.
The state tournament is organised by Maha Basketball Association. The state meet at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar will conclude on May 23.
This tournament is going to be vital from players’ perspective. Their performance in this five-day event will be considered while selecting the 12-member Maharashtra teams for the forthcoming national championship.
NDBA president Sandip Joshi, secretary Bhavesh Kuchanwar and all members of the NDBA wished luck for the Nagpur teams.
