Varanasi: After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s announcement for financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the kin of the martyr Alok Rao, the UP minister of state for stamp and court registration fees (Independent Charge) Ravindra Jaiswal visited the martyr’s residence at Chakia in Chandauli on Thursday and handed over the cheque to the family members.
The CM paid heartfelt tributes to the Assam Rifles jawan Alok Rao, who was martyred in an encounter with Naxals in Manipur.
The CM announced a financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the kin of the martyr and a government job to a member of his family and also to name a road in the district after him. Expressing condolences to the bereaved family members, CM Yogi said that the state government is with them in this hour of grief. All possible help will be provided to the family of the martyr by the state government.
Jaiswal paid tributes to the martyr and assured the family members that the government is with them. He also assured the family members of all possible help. He directed the district magistrate to make arrangements to provide a government job to a member of the martyr’s family immediately as per the announcement of the government.
