AHMEDABAD: Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel while inaugurating the tenth 'Chintan Shibir' of state government at Statue of Unity, Ektanagar said that Chintan Shibir iorganized with the aim of ‘not me but all’ theme will turn out to be effective in bringing major changes in the governance.
The CM said that, perceptions of Chintan Shibir may differ but the results remain the same and accurate as in the case of Mathematics, In which the answer of the sum is the same. The sole aim behind this Chintan Shibir is to accomplish the spirit of Sauna Saath Sauno Vikas.
Patel further said, “the commitment to development, the value for the well-being of the common man is inherent in every individual. Such debates and discussions that takes place during Chintan Shibir serves to bring out the best.”
He remarked that, expressing ideas freely and without any hesitation is also necessary during such discussions, Otherwise the plans, development works may not be properly implemented for the concerned sectors.
Chief Minister said Gujarat is the leader in most parameters of development and is at the forefront in every field. He asked the officers to ensure that not a single person should be deprived of the benefits.
Stating Saurashtra Tamil Sangam and Madhavpur Ghed Mela as excellent examples of mutual exchange among states Patel said that, because of such arrangements that has resulted in the development of cultural affairs and trade relations between Gujarat and other states.
On this occasion Finance Minister Shri Kanu Desai said that the development journey of Gujarat is making further progress under the leadership of Patel. The then Chief minister and now Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat, had set up a platform called Chintan Shibir to promote the vision and mission of the government along with the serving officials and the elected wing at every stage of the administration, which today has spread not only in Gujarat, but also at the national level and in many other states.
Stating that the ministers and officers-employees are dedicated service workers associated with the administration of the state, the Finance Minister added that, It is the responsibility of all of us to understand the hopes, aspirations and expectations of the citizens and paln out in such manner that the benefits reach to the ultimate beneficiary.
NITI Aayog has taken note of Gujarat's best financial management which is a matter of pride for the people pf Gujarat. The Minister expressed confidence that this Chintan Shibir would act as a catalyst to realize the concept of "Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat" and "Self-reliant India through Self-reliant Gujarat".
