3 arrested for helping goon escape

Jaisalmer: Three members of smuggler Koshalaram’s gang were arrested at Gida in Barmer district on Wednesday for setting a gang member free from police custody when he was being taken to a court in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra on May 8.
Two luxury vehicles used in the attack on the Maharashtra police team were also seized. Rajasthan government has announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on Koshalaram, who is on the run.
Barmer SP Digant Anand said smuggler Omaram aka Om Prakash, who was arrested in Balotra on April 13 night in connection with a drug smuggling incident of November 2022 in Maharashtra, had run away from the custody of Maharashtra police. TNN
