Siddaramaiah to be next Karnataka CM, DK Shivakumar to be his deputy

Ending the days of uncertainty, Congress chose Siddaramaiah as the next Karnataka CM. As per sources, Karnataka Congress ‘Trouble-Shooter’ DK Shivakumar will be the Deputy CM in the govt. Congress President Kharge finally arrived at a consensus for the formation of K’taka govt. The oath-taking ceremony will be held in Bengaluru on May 20. The party has called a Congress Legislative Party meeting in Bengaluru on May 18 at 7 pm. Central Observers from the AICC have been asked to reach Bengaluru to conduct the CLP Meeting.
