Anti-terrorism day on May 21: The death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi will be observed as ‘Anti-Terrorism Day’ on May 21, with an objective to wean the people, especially the youth, away from the cult of terrorism and violence. Principal secretary (finance) will garland the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi followed by administering the anti-terrorism pledge at the secretariat, Porvorim, at 10am.
Fulancho Khuris feast on Sunday: The annual feast of Holy Cross (Fulancho Khuris) at the Holy Cross Church, Bambolim, will be celebrated on May 21. The nine days preparation for the feast has commenced, with Masses held at 8am and 5.30pm. On the feast day, Masses will be held at 6am, 7.30am, 9am, 11am and 5pm.
