Woman raped, murdered in Bihar's Bhojpur district

ARA: A 30-year-old married woman was allegedly raped and murdered and her body was buried on the banks of a river in Bhojpur on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, police exhumed the body and arrested two persons. The incident occurred at a village under Chandi police station area.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar said police received a complaint that a woman was raped and murdered Tuesday night and buried on the banks of a river.
"A police team led by ASP Chandra Prakash and Chandi SHO Saurav Kumar got the body exhumed and sent it for postmortem," he said. "The accused - Ram Kumar Musahar and Daroga Musahar - have been arrested. According to her family members, both the accused were drunk. Only the postmortem report will reveal the exact cause of death," the SP said.
