Govt school gets rainwater harvesting system

Ludhiana: The city industrialists, under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme of New Swan Multitech Limited, set up a rainwater harvesting system at Government High School, Dhandari Kalan, here on Wednesday. MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chinna inaugurated the project.
Last month, the businessmen had set up a rainwater system at GSSS, Bharat Nagar.
CICU president Upkar Singh Ahuja said, “Our association members and different wings, especially the women entrepreneurs forum, have started a ‘save water’ initiative, under which we are setting up rain water harvesting systems at different places in the city.” TNN
