India’s youth today provide jobs instead of seeking employment: Anurag Thakur

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Thakur on May 18 attended cultural program “Hamir Sangam Mahotsav”. The program was organised by Hamirpur Welfare Association at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Speaking at Hamirpur Students Union Program, Anurag Thakur hailed the youth for their startups saying that today’s youth provide jobs instead of seeking employment.Anurag Thakur said, “Today, India has reached the number 3 position in the world’s startup ecosystem because of the effort of India’s youth. Today, instead of seeking employment, India’s youth provides jobs. Just like India doesn’t ask for help but helps those in need.”“We are soon going to set up an NCE for Olympic Sports in Hamirpur on the lines of the country’s top NCE (National Center of Excellence). So that there can be NCE for 18-20 games & we can prepare future Olympians from there. Its foundation stone will be laid in the next 2 months,” he added.
