ServiceNow and Nvidia have teamed up to create advanced generative AI abilities that can revolutionize business processes by streamlining workflow automation with greater intelligence and speed.
By using Nvidia's software, services, and infrastructure, ServiceNow is designing tailor-made large language models that are trained on data specifically for the ServiceNow Platform, the all-encompassing platform for digital transformation. This will augment ServiceNow already broad AI functionality by providing new applications for generative AI throughout the enterprise. These applications will benefit IT departments, customer service teams, employees, and developers by enhancing workflow automation and boosting productivity faster.
Nvidia is utilizing ServiceNow's generative AI tools to streamline its IT operations. The AI tools are customized with Nvidia data and run on hybrid-cloud infrastructure, including Nvidia DGX Cloud and on-premises Nvidia DGX SuperPOD AI supercomputers powered by Nvidia NeMo foundation models.
"IT is the nervous system of every modern enterprise in every industry," said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. "Our collaboration to build super‑specialized generative AI for enterprises will boost the capability and productivity of IT professionals worldwide using the ServiceNow platform."
"As adoption of generative AI continues to accelerate, organizations are turning to trusted vendors with battle‑tested, secure AI capabilities to boost productivity, gain a competitive edge, and keep data and IP secure," said CJ Desai, president and chief operating officer of ServiceNow. "Together, Nvidia and ServiceNow will help drive new levels of automation to fuel productivity and maximize business impact."
ServiceNow and Nvidia are working together to develop AI chatbots that can answer user inquiries and support requests. These chatbots use advanced language models and focus on specific IT tasks. Companies can personalize them by incorporating their data for a centralized AI resource.
Generative AI can help customer service teams prioritize cases, resolve issues, and save time. It can also improve the employee experience by suggesting learning opportunities based on natural language queries and employee profiles.
ServiceNow has partnered with the company, using Nvidia AI Foundations cloud services, the Nvidia AI Enterprise software platform, and the Nvidia NeMo framework for its generative AI research and development. This includes tools such as prompt tuning, supervised fine-tuning, and knowledge retrieval to aid developers in creating and adapting language models for enterprise use cases. Additionally, NeMo Guardrails software is provided to developers to add safety and security features for AI chatbots easily.
