Kanpur: Mayor Pramila Pandey on Wednesday visited Chowk Sarafa market and assured to take up redressal of the problems of the traders and public on priority. Addressing traders, she thanked them for supporting her in the recent election and said under the rule of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, all traders were free from extortion and threats. She assured that trader’s facing any problem could contact her at any time of the day or night and she would make all efforts to resolve the issue. The mayor reiterated the election promise of the ‘triple engine’ government would ensure development of Kanpur City.
“Plan for the next five years had already been prepared and would be executed as soon as I take oath,” she said. Pandey on Tuesday visited the old Shiv Temple of Harbansh Mohal and offered her prayers to Lord Hanuman. She assured public in the area that she would work for them throughout her term. “Temple would be renovated and all illegal possessions in the vicinity would be removed,” she assured. tnn
