    Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

    NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 13.76 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 11.24 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 8.78 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.58 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 4.74 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 4.06 crore), Trident Ltd(numbers of share traded: 3.74 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 3.35 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 3.10 crore) and IDBI Bank(numbers of share traded: 3.09 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

    The NSE Nifty index closed 104.75 points down at 18181.75, while BSE Sensex ended down 371.83 points at 61560.64.

    On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.95 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.60 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
