Croc attacks teen fishing in Dhadhar river

Vadodara: A 19-year-old boy was attacked by a crocodile in Dhadhar river on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred when Karan Rathodia went to fish near Dhaniyavi village and the reptile suddenly lunged towards him and caught hold of his legs.
Rathodia struggled to get out of the crocodile’s jaws and somehow managed to free himself. He raised an alarm following which some locals rushed to help and took him to the hospital. Three days ago, a woman was attacked and killed by a crocodile in Karjan taluka. The woman, identified as Kanchan Rathod, had gone to a lake near her village to wash clothes when a reptile dragged her away and killed her in deep waters. TNN
