A heart-wrenching incident has come to the fore from a village in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh where a man was forced to ferry his 13-year-old daughter’s dead body on his motorcycle after being allegedly denied an ambulance by a government-run hospital.
According to reports, the man, identified as Laxman Singh Gaud, a resident of Kota village in Shahdol district, was refused ambulance service by a government hospital on the pretext that they weren’t authorized to lend vehicles for destinations beyond 15 kilometres.
Laxman’s minor daughter, Madhuri Gaud, had passed away on Monday night after a bout of sickle-cell anaemia.
The bereaved father approached the hospital authorities to lend him an ambulance so he could take his daughter’s body home but was told that vehicles for destinations beyond 15kms weren’t available and he must make his own arrangements.
The distraught father did not have the money to rent a vehicle and was thus forced to carry the dead body of his daughter on his motorcycle.

The short clip shows Singh carrying the dead body in his lap while riding the two-wheeler.
However, while on his way back home, Singh was intercepted by Shahdol Collector Vandana Vaidya who had found out about the incident while she was on her way to another village.
Laxman Singh Gaud said that they were about 20 kms away from home when Vaidya intercepted them and arranged a vehicle for them to take Madhuri’s body back to Kota village.
Gaud said that civil surgeon Dr GS Parihar reached the spot along with Vaidya and arranged a hearse to carry his daughter’s body back home for last rites.
The Collector also provided financial assistance to the aggrieved family and has ordered a thorough probe into the incident.

Desperate thief sneaks inside mobile shop to steal phones with super gymnastic feat | WATCH
In the video, the man can be seen pushing himself through the opening barely a foot wide. He pushes himself through feet first and holds onto the bars for support while his legs dangle inside the mobile phone shop. It looks like he almost won’t make it inside when by some dint of superhuman will, he manoeuvres his shoulders to pass through.

Many of us would have seen people flattening themselves along the ground on roller skates to clear a bar close to the floor. A similar feat has been performed by a man while stealing mobile phones. He can be seen contorting himself through the bare opening like the ones in liquor stores for taking cash and handing out the goods.
The now-viral video was shared by a Reddit user and where the incident took place is not discernable.
Here’s how it happened.

Caught entirely on CCTV inside the shop, the man disappears from the screen and returns with some mobiles, we aren’t sure if they were iPhones or some such expensive instruments. If the journey in was nail-biting, the exit is also similar with his hands holding his final push for freedom. But he manages that with some acrobatic finesse and vamooses with the mobiles.
The thief was wearing a make-shift mask.
The viral video astounded Redditors. A user hailed the agility of the burglar and the efficiency with which he carried out the theft.
Another wondered why the bars had an opening in them. Another user said the thief might be desperate or maybe needed to make his ends meet or perhaps under the threat of a boss, assuming it is organised with a network.
One user compared the thief to Chinese action film star Jackie Chan. Others claimed the thief was a genius. A suggestion that came was that the should electrify the bars and then record it. Some viewers claimed it was a video from Brazil but we have not been able to ascertain that definitely.
