City records one Covid death, eight new cases

AHMEDABAD: The city recorded the death of a Covid patient on Tuesday.
The last death occurred nearly a week ago. Ahmedabad city also registered eight new cases.
Surat and Vadodara cities and three districts recorded one case each.
With Gujarat witnessing 13 new cases and the discharge of 22 patients, the number of active patients stood at 128.
Out of the total active patients, one was on a ventilator.
With this update, 16 out of 33 districts have active cases.
