Motorola's 2023 Razr duo coming on June 1

The long-rumored next-gen Motorola Razr phones finally have a release date – the flip phone foldables will be introduced on June 1. The accompanying teaser video shows two device silhouettes which implies we’ll see both the flagship Razr 40 Ultra as well as a more budget option with the Razr 40.

Rumors suggest Razr 40 Ultra will offer a 6.9-inch FHD+ folding OLED screen with a 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate and a 3.5-inch OLED cover screen. The device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The phone will offer a 12MP main cam and a 13MP ultrawide shooter and a 3,640 mAh battery with 33W charging. Razr 40 Ultra is expected to start at €1,299 in Europe.
The specs for the Razr 40 are not so detailed but we can expect Motorola to do some cost-cutting across the board including a smaller cover screen to reach the rumored €899 launch price.

Why using SD8g1 when they are asking for 1.299? No wonder Motorola are struggling. For that price you can buy almost 2 SD8g2 devices. Even tho the phone should look great but battery wise SD8g2 may do better since flip phones have smaller ...
Maybe Unisoc?

I'm more interested with the vanilla Razr 40. Is Motorola going back to Snapdragon 7 series or using MediaTek Dimensity chipset?
